New York Bagel and Deli: Experience Authentic New York Bagels in Raleigh

It was really easy to find. It's a decent size, just needs more inside seating. They move really fast. Multiple people were at the front to take orders, so I walked in with 5 people in front of me and it didn't even take 1 minute for my order to be taken. The menu was a little hard to see and understand, so I got something simple, a bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel. I also added home fries and a drink. z that came up to $15. I ordered it for dine in and the crusher told me to find a seat and she would bring me my order. There were no more tables inside, so I sat outside. She finally found me to bring me my order but she said she didn't know I was outside. It only took 5 minutes for the order to come out. Everything looked great. Every bite had bacon and egg, which is hard to get. The home fries were seasoned well, just needed some salt. Overall, it was a good, quick breakfast. I want to examine the menu some more and order something a bit more spontaneous next time

Stopped in here for a weekday breakfast after a run with friends. There were tons of bagel and cream cheese choices but unfortunately I am gluten free so couldn't enjoy any of them. I ordered the cheese and bell pepper omelette. Good, creamy cheese and a lot of bell peppers but the peppers could have been cooked more. Took a sun dried tomato bagel home to my husband who said it was very good. I noticed they had fountain drinks which is a plus for me. Looked like they had a good deli and pastry selection as well.

I'm giving a 5 because the bagels looked awesome. I didn't eat one because they were sold out of cinnamon raisin bagels. This make me think they are delicious. They were sold out by noon WOW! Next time I will go early and try the cinnamon raisin.

I'm from NJ and lived in NY and these are the best bagels I've had since moving here. There's a line out the door for a good reason. Also everyone who works here is a champ.

Great bagels! I met up with a friend for breakfast and this place was perfect. The bagels were delicious and the space was very casual. I had the lox bagel and it had plenty of fillings. Def going back.

Happened to see NY Bagel passing by on the way to an appointment. Most of my appointments have been in the evening, but had an early appointment today. Got 6 bagels, garlic herb cream cheese and a cheese Danish. The bagels are very fresh and the cream cheese delicious. The Danish was lovely and I loved the crunchy topping they add. I would be interested in what they have for lunch. They have Boar's Head products, which I love. They have inside seating and outside seating for a nice day. They were fairly busy, which is a good sign as well. You should visit them.

We pulled up to grab a bite to eat, but were met outside with a long line of people waiting for the same thing. However I was blown away about how quick they put the order together! Everything is made fresh to order. Such a great sandwich!

So good!!!! We got Jalapeño cheddar bagel toasted with turkey bacon and egg, add cheddar cheese and add bacon scallion cream cheese and an Everything bagel toasted with sausage and egg, add Swiss cheese and bacon scallion cream cheese. Also got a cinnamon sugar bagel toasted with plain cream cheese to split. Cinnamon sugar bagel wasn't super special, but the sandwiches were the best I've ever had!!! Bacon scallion cream cheese was heaven.

This place is a local breakfast institution with a huge selection of bagels, sandwiches and pastries. It's a super casual atmosphere in a strip mall, and you can expect a 15-20 minute line on the weekends. If it's your turn to pick up food for the office or the soccer team or some friends in town, this is the spot. You can go for breakfast or lunch, and you can make the order as gourmet (or basic) as you want. Grab yourself a great iced coffee and bacon, egg and cheese on your choice of 25 bagels. Then grab a dozen bagels, cream cheese, and a few pastries for the crew. The price is right, and the service is straightforward. Not unlike a local bagel shop in NYC.
